With 6 children, there is never a dull moment at home. Some days are a little more laid back, and others have me reaching for a bottle. Lord knows that I wouldn’t have been able to do this by myself. I thank God for my wonderful husband, Donnie.
Ariana is my 12 year old. She is pretty much your average preteen-pimples & attitudes. She likes to take control, which is a good & bad thing. The good thing is that Ariana is a leader & likes to get things done. On the other hand, she likes to be the mom to her younger siblings. Maybe I should give her the job temporarily. I need a date with a pitcher of margaritas.
Amariyah is 8. This child is a mini version of myself. She has me apologizing to my mother constantly for my terrible childhood behavior. What I love most about Amariyah is that she is very driven, and takes her studies very seriously. This child is a natural comedian. She constantly has me in stitches!
Avery is 7. He is my sweetheart. Although Avery has learning challenges, he can read better than anyone in our family. After a daunting day of playing Roblox and Just Dance, Avery is always ready to eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
Julian is 5. He has Autism Spectrum Disorder. Julian loves to play Duck Duck Moose games on his tablet and eat chicken nuggets. Even though Julian is nonverbal, he will never fail to show us that he wants some milk! His smile is infectious.
Joshua & Jessica are my 4 year old twins. Like Julian, Joshua has Autism Spectrum Disorder, and is nonverbal. He loves to hop around like a frog before finding someone’s lap to plop in. Joshua has an infectious laugh. This sweet boy loves to eat fruit. I can’t keep it in the house! Jessica is a tiny diva. She is so sassy & sweet at the same time. She puts everyone in their place, but she melts for her daddy. As bossy as she is, I am thoroughly convinced that she is apprenticing under Ariana.
Donnie is my husband. He is probably the most caring person you will ever meet. Although he works long hours, Donnie is always ready to step in, and pick up any slack when he gets home.
Finally, there’s me. I’m Antonia. In case you didn’t already know, I’m a stay-at-home mom and a Paparazzi consultant I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and some studies towards a Master’s Degree. I am a reality tv show junkie. Ah! Nothing like exploitative television!
From the outside, it may look like I have my hands full. I do, but the good news is that my heart is equally full. We are a complete unit, and I wouldn’t want life any other way.
